Dear
Valued Customer:
As you
may not be aware, the recently enacted Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act
of 2008 (“CPSIA”) requires manufacturers and importers to certify that the
products they sell meet all applicable standards covered by Consumer Product
Safety Act applicable to such products.
Good Deed Organization is committed to the utmost compliance with
certification standards under the statute which are applicable to its products.
Under
the Flammability Standard for apparel set forth in 16 C.F.R. Part 1610,
garments made of fabrics weighing more than 2.6 oz. per yard are exempt from
flammability testing. Good Deed
Organization manufactures and sells blank shirts made of fabric weighing over 2.6
ounces per square yard.
We
encourage you to visit the CPSC’s website for additional information:
http://www.cspc.gov/about/cspia.html
Please
feel free to contact us should you have any questions regarding the safety of
our products. We will keep you posted of
any changes in the CPSC’s application of the rules as they are brought to Good
Deed Organization’s attention.
Sincerely,
Good
Deed Organization
